    Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

this is a limited edition 7" cut vinyl. they are actual vinyl (not any other material) but they are cut by hand in real time (not pressed). only ten (10!) were made of the first run. i accidentally printed the wrong layout of the back cover, and the back cover size is wrong (note the smaller size in the merch picture). future "cuts" (not pressings) of this record will have the correct layout and size of the back cover, so this will be the rare misprinted original version. grab it while you can! since these are hand cut as opposed to pressed, they cost about $25 per record. but i am selling them for below cost at $20 plus shipping because, well, it's all about the fans!

every night i forget lands that are bleak and so desolate and far away and cold fragments remain in my mind i'm afraid of hostile things i'd find and can't control and own yeah, i try to get far away yes, i've tried, yeah, i've tried to get far away food from the trash tasty meals forage for cash dirty garbage pails and slimy snails and flies claim in your name perfect holes well aware that this receiver broke its time since disappeared yeah, i try to get far away yes, i've tried, yeah, i've tried to get far away staring at the sunlight through the bitter cold wish i was at the source, the surface telling all i know i've peered inside the mind of God and all i found was freedom

about

“With its no-frills guitar and hushed lyrics, "Questions..." conjures nostalgia of some of the finest bread-and-butter indie rock acts of the scene’s late nineties/early-aughts heyday.” — Narrow Marrow Zine, Issue #18

"I was immediately drawn into the music because it reminds me of the late emo, or even post-emo stylings of a band like American Football or The Promise Ring... worthy of standing next to some of the best songs in the genre." — Austin Town Hall

"'Questions' isn’t any shoe. It’s one with the comfort soles, the kind your podiatrist makes custom to keep your knees from aching up from your bony feet... The EP is a wandering of introspective thoughts and lines that often wax poetic." — Driving Home After

“Oftentimes one assumes that simple music is crappy music. Make no such mistake here. Though basic, Simian Cyborg’s unassuming, earnest melodies are laden with an emotional complexity that will delight your ears and tug at your heartstrings.” — The Braindrain

"While it’s not the most innovative album of all time, it’s definitely solid to strong in just about every aspect I can think of. It may be short, but it’s damn good." — Underrated and Obscure Music Blog
